What you need to use StbEmu
Requirements to watch IPTV channels: To use your IPTV subscription to watch TV, you will need the following: Your provider must provide you with these details.
- Active IPTV service package
- Portal URL - This is the link to the IPTV provider's portal.
- MAC address - This can be provided by your IPTV distributor (see our blog post about MAC addresses).
How to configure StbEmu

Install StbEmu
Download and install Stb APK form the Given Download button or PlayStore.
Open the app
Your app may try to connect to the demo portal the first time you use it. This will not display any channels; it is for testing only.
Access Settings
You can also confirm in Settings as well by following these steps: Open the menu and tap or hold the center/select button (depending on the device) and choose the following:
- Settings > Profiles > New Profile
Customize Profile Settings
Here are the parameters you must define:
- Profile Name - Anything (e.g. Our IPTV)
- Portal URL - If you haven't received the information directly from your IPTV service provider, you'll get it from your IPTV provider. Do not type this URL in your browser!
- STB Model - Choose MAG 250, MAG 254 or any other.
- Screen Resolution - Choose according to your device.
- MAC Address - You must type the MAC address you previously registered with your service provider.
Tip: Make sure the MAC address on your app is the same as the one registered with your IPTV service. If not, Portal doesn't load channels.
Save and restart
After entering the correct information, save the profile and then restart the app. If everything goes well, the app will load your provider's portal and you can start watching your subscribed channels.
How it works
After the configuration is complete:
- You can operate with the onscreen virtual remote control.
- The interface will resemble a physical IPTV set-top box.
- All features (EPG, VOD, channel groups, etc.) depend on your IPTV provider's result.
