X-Change™ Life is a text-based daily life RPG designed for players seeking a slower, mechanics-driven adult simulation with a body-swap twist. The tone remains grounded and everyday rather than dramatic.
Gameplay
Each day, you manage a normal routine at home and around town—except that over-the-counter pills can switch your body between male and female for a full day or longer. Time and actions are tightly linked, so choosing what to do and who to spend time with directly shapes how the day unfolds. Encounters and mechanics shift depending on your current body, covering both sides of relationships and casual hookups you discover along the way.

Office Job: Overhauled to be more dynamic and fun. You're now on a leaderboard against colleagues, and the sales process has many new mechanics with tooltips explaining everything.
Secretary Gameplay: Expanded with typing affirmations and new Hailey content.
Relationship Browser: Manage your relationships with NPCs—including the option to block unwanted contacts.
Stepdad Scenes: New sex scenes and on-ramps, plus new Purple Pill variants and content.
Character Portraits: Added 2,000+ new character portraits to reflect your hairstyle and makeup.
NPC Outfit Preferences: NPCs now have outfit preferences, gift you outfits, and expect you to wear them around them.
Nail System: Buy products and paint your nails in various ways. This ties into the presentation system—optional, but if you have long glossy pink nails, the game may perceive you as more of a bimbo. Create your own custom designs!

Outfit Planner / Shopping / Beauty Overhaul: Smarter outfit selection, planner filters, bonus filters, tag labels, outfit carryover fixes, NPC guy outfit preferences, attraction from outfit matching, laundry-gated outfit bonuses, Bonwit Teller upgrades, thrift shop, handbags, maternity/household flows, makeup/nails improvements, and a large combo portrait/look asset expansion.
Presentation / Appearance System: A comprehensive global system that determines "how you read to the world"—covering professionalism, sluttiness, cuteness, classiness, style, and signals from face/body/outfit/makeup/handbag/hair. This powers mirror/dossier/Looksy/NPC reactions, so every scene doesn't have to guess independently. The game is now much more intelligent at reading how you're presenting yourself—NPCs can tell if you look like a bimbo, uncomfortable in your outfit, or professional. Incredibly deep and dynamic.
Looksy (In-Game OnlyFans Career): Take selfies and build a following. Your audience may try to corrupt you! This feature currently requires a local LLM or can connect to OpenRouter—you post captions and receive comments you can check the next day. This is the first LLM experiment and will be refined over time. The goal is something that genuinely leverages LLM tech without costing users money. Looksy's mechanics and gameplay are managed by X-Change Life's code; only the initial interpretation of your post's caption and online comments is handled by the LLM. Two primary components exist—the tagger and the commenter—with a safety layer of code in between to prevent exploitation. Your mileage may vary depending on model quality, but game mechanics remain consistent.
Alexia: Much less annoying and more dynamic, with dozens of additional mini-scenes and behavioural variations.
Pregnancy: Expanded scenes for repeat pregnancies.
Gym Sex Scenes: Lots of new branches and content.
New Game Engine: X-Lowe (our reimplementation of Harlowe), with performance improvements and optimisations.

New Story Content Prep: The Museum of Anything Goes has been implemented but currently disabled. You can enable it via the cheat menu—it's a fully-featured, massive museum with five wings and tons of lore, serving as the in-game lorebook.
