Gameplay
In the game world, a player is a person controlled by the user. A seed creates a randomly-generated world for the player with an empty inventory. If the bonus chest option is enabled, the player receives a chest filled with basic items. Health bars have 10 hearts, and the player can lose them by falling, suffocating, drowning, lava, fire, cacti, sweet berry bushes, magma blocks, hitting another entity with thorn armor, using splash potions, hitting mobs, and getting hit by other players.
A person's health can be mitigated by armor and resistance potions, while a person's health can be restored by food and specific potions. Health regenerates automatically when Peaceful difficulty is selected. Setting the difficulty to Peaceful is also important, as hunger depletes over time, and even more quickly if you run, jump, or swim a lot. A player's hunger is replenished by food, but rotten flesh and raw chicken can give them a hungry feeling. Starvation depletes a player's health and can even result in death.
